There are so many ways to help SOS, but we especially need volunteers! Do you have talents or gifts that could be used to help SOS? We bet you do!
Surrender A Setter
We strive to help with every request to help Irish, Gordon, and Irish Red & White Setters we receive! To help us help you better, please have the following items available when you contact us: Pictures of the dog - Pedigree (if available) - Vet records Registration papers (if available)
Owner surrenders will need to complete an Owner Release.
Shelters please email us the list of documents you require. We'll be happy to provide them!

Save Our Setters relies on donations and fundraising activities to fund its programs.
We do not receive any state or federal funds, nor do we derive any benefits from the Irish Setter Club of America Rescue Fund or any other Breed Club funding.
Donations to Save Our Setters may be tax deductible - please consult your tax advisor.

When SOS is contacted about a Setter in need of rescue, more often than not, time is of the essence. Shelters have limited space, and owners who are surrendering tend to wait until the last minute. Because of this, SOS needs to have a list of fosters on stand-by.
The dogs are counting on you!

Our community is full of people who want to help but just aren't ready to add a new pup to their homes or do not have the time and energy required to foster a Setter in need.
If you aren't looking to Foster or Adopt but still want to help, we are always looking for individuals that are willing to help us transport our Setter rescue pups to their foster homes or future forever homes.
In order to use EVERY DOLLAR on the needs of the furkids in Setter Rescue, we do not solicit donations in states that require registration fees for solicitation privileges except TN, as required by law for corporations domiciled in the state. Before donating to Save Our Setters or any other non-profit, it is wise to confirm good standing by visiting the Secretary of State's website.
